Some companies will “double charge” for the corners of L-shaped pieces or charge separately at a different rate for your backsplashes. At Southern Stone Surfaces we don’t double charge for corners and your backsplashes are charged per square foot at the same rate as your counter tops.

At Southern Stone Surfaces we have four popular standard edges for you to choose from at no additional cost.

Prefabricated Material

Many companies offer very low pricing for what is known as pre-fabricated counter tops out of China. These counter tops only come in a set length and depth and jobs that require arches or special overhangs will not work. Southern Stone Surfaces does only custom fabrication from slabs – there are no additional charges for curves or special designs.

Existing Counter Top Tear-Out

We understand you don’t want to be without a kitchen while your new counter tops are being created. That’s why we provide same day tear out of your existing counter tops when we install.

Plumbing Hook Up

Now that you have your new counter tops installed you still need to hire a plumber to come in and hook up your sink right? Wrong, at Southern Stone Surfaces we provide same day plumbing hook up at no cost to you – you can use your new kitchen or bathroom the same day.

Turn Around Time

When you are ready for new stone counter tops you don’t want to wait 2-4 weeks to get them. Our team can get your job completed in less than a week from your template date.

Extra Charges

You will need faucet holes drilled for your plumbing and perhaps receptacle outlets cut. Southern Stone Surfaces offers these free – 2 holes, 6 holes, no problem.

Individual Attention

As the customer you can be as involved with the process as you would like. We encourage you to come to our shop and pick your own slabs and even do a lay-out of your templates. This way you know exactly what stone is going in your home and how it will look.

Estimates

Many companies will provide you with a low-ball estimate to get your business, then by the time your get your final quote you are too far in the process to start over (even if you are paying much more). Our estimates are free and we guarantee to be with 3 square feet of your final quote.

At Southern Stone Surfaces we are proud of the product we provide; therefore, we offer a limited lifetime warranty on all our products. We do everything we can to be sure you are happy with your investment; if you are not, just let us know and we’ll make it right.
